On Saturday May 7, from banners and drummers, Evita for Tigre Movement paid homage to Eva Peron to 92 years after his birth.
Some 50 activists gathered at the corner of 197 and Avenue of the Constituent
(formerly Route 9), where there is the bust of Evita to remember an anniversary.
The way they chose to do so was a popular assembly where they invited the comrades to share thoughts and feelings about Evita.
There were over 10 speakers from the militants present and highlighted the militant attitude and commitment of Eva Peron with the poor and workers, in their relentless struggle to achieve social justice for his people. He also emphasized the political moment that we live, where after 60 years, we have a national government that represents the people's interests.
