But on this occasion, I'll upload a recording in which Luis De Mauleon sends greetings to all readers of this space, the autograph. And then publish under their authorization, the first installment of his article "Gust Radiofónicas" in which he writes about Radio history of 6.20 for the group "Quadrant" of Facebook in which we have gathered some broadcasters and journalists from Mexico as Luis Ramirez Reyes, Jaime Moreno, Enrique Guzmán García, Claudia Segura, Joaquín Gutiérrez Child Llosas Guillermo Mejia, James Zabludovsky Rosalia Buaún Sánchez, Luis De Mauleon, a server, and others to name. Gust Radiofónicas
Part 1

The year was 1949 and a radio station with no equivalent in the quadrant, was born in the AM band: XENK, Radio 6.20, 620 kilohertz, Mexico, and with it came into this world one of the oldest radio programs and reputable history of the airwaves in our country: "A Time to Dance."

This wonderful space, magic par excellence and the most spectacular parade orchestra and singers from the golden era of dance music from the U.S., was hosted and produced since its inception by the then 16 year old Guillermo Aguilar and Martinez del Campo, who with his brother Luis, came together in downtown streets of Guatemala 1 °, in the traditional and memorable "Pasaje Catedral", to entertain with his choice of music and text for the youth of that time to tune the 620 KHz looking for atractivísimos rhythms of North America and in the new station find their natural setting.

"A Time to Dance" was born on Sunday, July 4, 1949, at 20:00., Barely two weeks after the historic birth of the 620 Kilohertz 20 June 1949 and although it is eclipsed air stage in the early 50s, given the different academic activities such as youth Aguilar had the space back to its natural frequency in September 1982, remaining in taste the public as one of the favorite shows of yesterday, today and forever until the unfortunate December 4, 1990 that disappeared completely in the programming of Radio 6.20, but not of the mind and heart of a servant, who now revived Saturday at through XENK Saturday, 19:00 to 20:00 hrs., with the suggestive title of "The Sound of the Big Bands."

Indeed, the wonderful space that motivates me to write this text and what started this series of collaborations for the prestigious colleague Gutiérrez link Child, was my muse and the Master Aguilar, living legend still broadcasting 40 years, witness the birth of the 620 Kilohertz and the owner of the record store for Mexico's most important collectors, Discopolis, is to whom I owe my vocation as a broadcaster and radio producer.

Luis De Mauleon.
